The oil is extracted by steam distillation of either the plant or the seeds.

  • Digestive
  • Diuretic

Indications:

Amenorrhea, constipation, detoxifying, headaches, flatulence, indigestion, muscle spasms, water retention.

Blends well with:

Clary sage, geranium, lemon, mandarin, neroli, orange, peppermint.

Precautions:

Dill is generally a safe oil but it might cause some irritation to those with sensitive skin. Avoid during pregnancy.
